Disconnecting the tilt sensor
| Disconnecting the tilt sensor |

  To avoid false alarms if the car is parked on a floor that may move, for example on a car ferry, the tilt sensor can be disconnected.
| Disconnection |
The sensor is disconnected (with the key removed from the ignition) by holding down the NIGHT PANEL button for a few seconds. The glass breakage sensor is also disconnected.
Disconnection is confirmed with the message DOOR ALARM ONLY on SID. The car must then be locked within 3 minutes if the disconnection is to be valid when the alarm is armed.
| Connection |
Disconnection is cancelled the next time the car is unlocked or when NIGHT PANEL is pressed again. FULL THEFT ALARM will then be displayed on SID.
| Important | ||
| If a fault occurs in the tilt sensor, the CHECK message SERVICE THEFT ALARM appears on the SID display. | ||
