The anti-theft alarm normally functions as described on the previous pages, but if for instance a passenger door is open when the alarm is armed, or is opened during the delay period, the following happens:
| 1. | Door, bonnet or tailgate is open or opened during the delay time when the alarm is armed: | |
| • | LED flashes (very fast) for 10 seconds and then changes to normal display for armed alarm (1 flash/3 seconds). |
| • | The door, bonnet or tailgate is then disconnected from the alarm system. |
| 2. | Door, bonnet or tailgate are closed while the alarm is armed. | |
| • | The LED changes from flashing to being lit continuously for 10 seconds, indicating a new delay period which applies only to the door, bonnet or tailgate which was closed. |
| • | After the delay period, the door, bonnet or tailgate are once again covered by the alarm monitoring. The LED changes to normal display for armed alarm (1 flash/3 sec). |
