Remove the brake caliper. See

Remove the brake pads, se Brakes, Brake discs and brake pads

Clean the hydraulic body.

4. |
Remove the dust caps.

Press out the brake piston with compressed air through the hose connection. Use
89 96 712 Removal tool, rear brake piston
.

6. |
Remove the piston ring.
|
7. |
Check for damage due to wear.

To assemble |

1. |
Smear the piston sealing rings with the grease supplied in the kit. Also grease the dust cap.

2. |
Fit the piston rings in the cylinder barrel.
|
3. |
Fit the pistons in the cylinders and press the dust caps in place.
|
4. |
Fit the brake pads.
|
5. |
Fit the brake caliper. See
