Remove the two bolts and the clip securing the headlining to the rear rail.
|

4.
|
Slacken the bolt which attaches the cable to the rear rail so that the cable's attaching lug moves freely.
|
|
5.
|
Pull the cable attaching lug as far rearwards as possible so that the bolt abuts the front end of the attaching lug groove.
|
|
6.
|
Tighten the bolt.
Tightening torque
: 12 Nm
|
|
7.
|
Turn the bolt an additional 120°-170°.
|
|
8.
|
Remove the soft top support and close the soft top. Do not lock the soft top in the windscreen frame.
|
|
9.
|
Tighten the bolt.
Tightening torque
: 12 Nm
|
|
10.
|
Manoeuvre the soft top through at least 5 complete cycles in order to check soft top function.
