Door window, CV

To remove


1. Remove the door trim. See Door trim, CV .

2. Lower the window.

3. Remove the cover at the upper rear corner of the door.


4. Remove the outer window well seal. The seal is secured by a clip at the rear end.

5. Remove the inner window well seal.

6. Fold down the water barrier.

7. Remove the clip and remove the window lift lever from the runner in the aluminium rail on the window.


8. Remove the bolts securing the window to the lift mechanism.

9. Lift the window out of the door. Hold the window lift mechanism away from the window to facilitate lifting.


To fit



1. Raise the window lift mechanism.

2. Guide in the plastic bushings on the window in the rear window guide rail. Lower the window slightly and tighten the bolts that secure the window to the lift mechanism.

3. Fit the lift mechanism lever to the runner in the aluminium rail.

4. Fit the clip.

5. Adjust the position of the door window. See Door trim, CV .

6. Fit the water barrier.


7. Fit the inner window well seal.

8. Fit the outer window well seal. Fit the clip at the rear end.

9. Refit the cover at the upper rear corner of the door.

10. Refit the door trim. See Door trim, CV .
