Backrest lock cylinder, CV

To remove


1. Fold forward the backrest.


2. Loosen the upholstery retaining strip by the lock cylinder.

3. Remove the head restraint. See Rear head restraints, CV .

4. Move aside the upholstery to access the lock cylinder.


5. Fit the key tool in the lock cylinder.

6. Press out the plastic sleeve catches and press out the lock cylinder using a screwdriver.


To fit



1. Fit the plastic sleeve by pressing.

2. Press in the lock cylinder with the key tool inserted.

3. Refit the upholstery and fit the upholstery retaining strip.


4. Refit the head restraint and refit the backrest.
