Rod antenna (optional). Remove the protective plug from the foot of the antenna. Fit the antenna foot and screw on the antenna rod.

Fit all the accessories packed in a separate box. The contents of the box may vary, depending on the market and model variant.

| Fitting the towing eye grille |
The grille over the front towing eye is not works-fitted as the eye is used for securing the car for carriage by sea. Fit the grille in the spoiler by compressing it and then pressing it in place.
| Radio aerial rod |
Fit the radio aerial rod.

(9-3 Aero/Viggen on markets US, CA, PA, JP and AU only)
Remove the front towing eye and place it in a bag beside the spare wheel in the luggage compartment. Fit the cover panel found in the glove box.
