To remove |

Open the bonnet.

Put protection on the wings.
|
3. |
Undo the nut on the rear engine mounting pad.
|
4. |
Raise the car.
|
5. |
Insert special tool
83 95 238 Wedge
between the subframe and the oil tray. Use a pry bar to lift up the power train when fitting the wedges.

6. |
Remove the bolts securing the engine mounting to the gearbox.
|
7. |
Remove the nuts securing the mounting pad to the subframe.
|
8. |
Remove the rear engine mounting and pad.
|
To fit |
1. |
Assemble the mounting pad and the engine bracket. Do not tighten the nut completely.

2. |
Put the mounting pad and engine bracket in place.
|
3. |
Fasten the pad to the subframe.
|
4. |
Position the bolts securing the engine bracket to the gearbox.
Lift up the power train with a crowbar, for example, while positioning. |
5. |
Tighten the engine bracket mountings to torque.
Tightening torque: 84 Nm (64 lbf ft) |
6. |
Remove the wedges between the subframe and the oil sump. Use a crowbar to lift up the power train.

7. |
Tighten the nuts on the subframe to torque.
Tightening torque: 50 Nm (38 lbf ft) |
8. |
Lower the car to the floor.
|
9. |
Tighten the nut securing the mounting pad to the bracket.
Tightening torque: 47 Nm (36 lbf ft) |
10. |
Remove the wing protection and shut the bonnet.
