At constant temperatures of -20°C (-4°F) or below, use 5W-30 or 5W-40. These must be fully synthetic or synthetic based oils. At constant temperatures of +15°C (+59°F) or above, use 15W-50 or 20W-50. 5W-grade oils must be fully synthetic or synthetic based if used. 5W mineral oil can be used on markets where only this type is available provided they comply with the quality requirements specified above. |
