To remove



1. Detach the ground cable on the battery.

2. LHD: Remove the glove box.

RHD: Remove the lower dashboard panel.

3. Fold away the mat, unplug the connector and remove the control module.

Important

ESD-SENSITIVE COMPONENT

Ground yourself by touching the car body or engine before unplugging or plugging in the component. Never touch the connector pins. Prior to changing a control module refer to Before changing a control module .



To fit



1. Fit the control module, plug in the connector and replace the mat.

2. LHD: Fit the glove box.

RHD: Fit the lower dashboard panel.

3. Connect the ground cable on the battery.

4. Program the car's Immobilizer

5. Test run the car.

6. Check for diagnostic trouble codes.
