Engine Speed Sensor. No Signal During Engine Running.


Fault symptom


• CHECK ENGINE lamp on.

• Limp home.


Conditions

The following conditions apply for the DTC in question:


• The engine speed exceeds 850 rpm.

• The period between crankshaft signals is greater than 40 ms 16 times in succession.


Diagnostic help

Diagnosis detects an electrical fault. The control module uses the pump speed x 2 as a substitute value.
