Conditions
The following conditions apply for the DTC in question:

When the difference between the boost pressure sensor and the atmospheric pressure sensor is greater than 22.5 kPa for more than 3 seconds. Diagnosis takes place at engine speeds below 950 rpm and below 15 mg/combustion.
Fault criteria not fulfilled for P0107, P0108, P1107, P1108, P1634, P1635, P1636 or P1637.

DTC P0106 is generated simultaneously in the control module. Boost pressure control and EGR are disengaged. Diagnosis for P0107, P0108, P1107 and P1108 is stopped. Boost pressure control is disengaged.

Default value is 70 kPa. Power supply is the same as for pedal position sensor 2.
