Reverse gear detent

To remove



1. Lift the gear lever gaiter.

2. Put the gear lever in neutral.

3. Carefully press in the three catches in the ball socket using a screwdriver and lift the gear lever far enough to expose the reverse gear detent catch.

4. Unhook the reverse gear detent from the ball socket.


To fit



1. Fit the reverse gear detent to the ball socket.

2. Press down the ball socket into the lever housing. Make sure that the O-ring is correctly positioned.

3. Refit the gaiter.
