Microswitch, fifth bow latch
Microswitch, fifth bow latch |
There are microswitches at both latches for the fifth bow that sense if the fifth bow is in lock position and ready for locking.
Pin 3 on the left microswitch is connected to control module pin 17 and microswitch pin 2 is connected to grounding point G36.
Pin 3 on the right microswitch is connected to control module pin 32 and microswitch pin 2 is connected to grounding point G36.

When the ignition is turned ON, the control module outputs B+ via a 1 kOhm resistor to the microswitches from pin 17 and 32, and the microswitches close when the fifth bow is locked and the control module inputs are grounded.
