In order to adjust the hinges for the tailgate, the headlining must first be loosened to expose the hinges. |
| 1. |
Open the tailgate.

Remove the door seal at the roof.
|
|
| 3. |
Loosen the rear edge of the headlining by removing the two clips (turn them 90° and pull them out).

|
| 4. |
Fold down the trim so that the bolts in the tailgate hinge mountings become visible.

| 5. |
Undo the bolts and adjust the tailgate.
|
|
| 6. |
After adjustment:
Tighten the bolts.
|
|
| 7. |
Touch up the paint by the hinges if necessary.
|
|
| 8. |
Fold the trim back in place and fit the retainer clips for the headlining.
|
|
| 9. |
Fit the door seal, use a rubber mallet if necessary.
|
|
| 10. |
Fold the door seal outside the headlining.
|
|
| 11. |
Close the tailgate.
