Striking plate, tailgate

To remove



1. Open the tailgate.

2. Remove the sill scuff plate.

3. Remove the striker plate retainer screws and lift it out.


To fit



1. Fit the striker plate.

2. Fit the sill scuff plate.


Adjustment

Check the function of the lock and adjust if necessary. The bumper and bumper guide may also require adjustment, see Buffer guide, tailgate .
