Lock button in door
Lock button in door |
If a door is unlocked with the lock button on the door when the car is locked and the door is then opened, the TWICE control module receives the information that the door is open. Then, when the door is closed and locked with the key, remote control or the button on the centre console, TWICE first unlocks the door and then immediately commands locking.
This process occurs to reset the lock unit mechanical components to allow the lock motor to lock the door.
When a door has been unlocked with its lock button, the TWICE control module processes the driver's door and front passenger door separately and both rear doors (5D) together.
Convertible cars do not have the button on the centre console, instead the central locking system can be operated by the lock buttons in the doors.
