1. Identify the plastic. See or

2. Select the appropriate welding wire and set the correct working temperature on the welding pistol so that it corresponds with the type of plastic. See

3. Heat the clamp and tack it on in the correct position. Use the tacking tip.


4. Weld on the clamp with the welding rod.


5. Allow the weld to cool.

6. Sand down the welded joint as necessary.


7. Paint the welded joint.
