Pump Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction. Internal Fault.


Fault symptom


• CHECK ENGINE lamp on.

• Limp home.

• Loss of power.


Conditions

The following conditions apply for the DTC in question:


• No camshaft signal after 10 crankshaft signals.


Diagnostic help

The control module uses the speed from the crankshaft position sensor /2 as a substitute value. If the timing chain is damaged, the diagnostic trouble code is set.
