Conditions
The following conditions apply for this DTC:

Power supply to accelerator pedal 1 position sensor is short-circuited to ground, output voltage under 4.8 V.

P1639
Power supply to accelerator pedal 1 position sensor is short-circuited to B+, output voltage under 5.2 V.

Diagnostic help
The engine speed has a fixed value of 1400 rpm. The car will not react to the accelerator as long as the fault persists.
