To remove



1. Undo the anti-roll bar nut.

2. Undo the nut on the ball joint. Use 89 96 696 Puller to press out the bolt from the steering swivel member.

3. Remove the ball joint nut and bend the support arm/suspension arm down.

4. Remove the circlip securing the gaiter and remove the gaiter.


To fit



1. Pack the new gaiter with Molycote Longterm 2-78 or other grease of similar type.

2. Refit the gaiter and circlip.

3. Press the support arm/suspension arm up into position and fit the nut on the ball joint. Tighten the nut.

Tightening torque: 75 Nm (55 lbf ft).

4. Fit the anti-roll bar nut and tighten it.

Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7 lbf ft).
