Ball joint (gaiter)

| 1. | Undo the anti-roll bar nut. | |
| 2. | Undo the nut on the ball joint. Use
       
        89 96 696 Puller
       
       to press out the bolt from the steering swivel member. | |
| 3. | Remove the ball joint nut and bend the support arm/suspension arm down. | |
| 4. | Remove the circlip securing the gaiter and remove the gaiter. | |
| To fit | 
 
   
   | 1. | Pack the new gaiter with Molycote Longterm 2-78 or other grease of similar type. | |
| 2. | Refit the gaiter and circlip. | |
| 3. | Press the support arm/suspension arm up into position and fit the nut on the ball joint. Tighten the nut. Tightening torque: 75 Nm (55 lbf ft). | |
| 4. | Fit the anti-roll bar nut and tighten it. Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7 lbf ft). | |
