Remove the MacPherson strut, see
Front damper (MacPherson strut)

2. |
Place two pieces of flat or square bar under the MacPherson strut.
|
3. |
Press off the front wheel hub from the wheel bearing. Use special tool
89 96 704 Drift, front wheel bearing
.

4. |
Remove the circlips from the MacPherson strut.
|
5. |
Remove the wheel bearing from the steering swivel member. Use special tool
89 96 704 Drift, front wheel bearing
.

To fit |
1. |
Fit the outer circlip on the steering swivel member. The opening in the circlip should face downwards.

2. |
Press in the wheel bearing until it abuts with the circlip. Use special tool
89 96 704 Drift, front wheel bearing
. Lubricate the bearing seat and outer circumference of the bearing with Molykote G Rapid Plus grease.

3. |
Fit the inner circlip on the steering swivel member. The opening in the circlip should face downwards.

4. |
Fit the hub into the wheel bearing. Use special tool
89 96 704 Drift, front wheel bearing
.

5. |
Fit the MacPherson strut, see
