Stepping motor, air-mixing damper


Removing


1. Remove the glove box. See Glove box .

2. Remove the side panel from the centre console.

3. Remove the floor air duct.

4. Remove both retaining bolts from the stepping motor.


5. Unplug the connector.


Fitting



1. Plug in the connector.

2. Fit the stepping motor and tighten both retaining bolts.

3. Refit the floor air duct.


4. Refit the side panel on the centre console.

5. Put the glove box back in place. See Glove box .

6. Calibrate the ACC-system by simultaneously pressing the buttons “AUTO” and “OFF”.

Important

All previous diagnostic trouble codes are erased when calibrating. Obtain readouts of stored diagnostic trouble codes before calibrating.
