Conditions
The following conditions apply:
•
Open circuit or short-circuit to B+ on pin 20 >4.9 V.
•
Shorted to ground on pin 20 <0.1 V.
•
Measured every 440 ms and 5 measurements in a row are required to generate a diagnostic trouble code.
•
The diagnostic trouble code is erased after ignition has been switched on 20 times if the problem conditions have not been fulfilled.
•
When the diagnostic trouble code is generated, a replacement value is used. The replacement value used at ignition turn-on is the outside temperature and then the calculated temperature at head level for the front-seat passenger and driver.
