Adjusting the fifth bow lock

A Lock fittings fore-and-aft adjustment
|
1.

Lower the fifth bow and check the lock fitting position in the soft top cover lock. The lock fitting should strike at the front edge of the hole in the soft top cover.

If the lock fittings need adjusting, proceed as follows.

|
Raise the fifth bow.
|
|
2.b.
|
Loosen the screw and adjust the latch fittings by tapping them fore-and-aft so that they end up directly in front of the
reed elements
.

3.
|
Tighten the screw and lower the fifth bow. Check that the lock fittings strike directly in front of the lock elements in the locks.
