Adjusting tailgate lock function with the diagnostic tool |
Speed Dependent Locking of Tailgate |
• |
Alternatives: Disengaged or 2–14 km/h
|
• |
Factory setting: Disengaged
|
If the Disengaged setting is selected, the automatic locking function will be inactive.
If a value between 2–14 km/h is selected, the car will be locked when the speed exceeds the specified value for 1 or more seconds.
Automatic Relocking of Tailgate |
• |
Alternatives: No locking/Immediate locking–4 min.
|
• |
Factory setting: No locking
|
If the No locking setting is selected, the tailgate will remain unlocked if it has been unlocked and not opened. Locking the car with the remote control, the button in the centre console or the key will lock the tailgate.
If a value between Immediate locking-4 minutes is selected instead, the tailgate will be locked automatically after the specified time.
The Immediate locking setting means that the tailgate will lock immediately it is closed, i.e. without any locking delay.
Consequently, if e.g. 30 seconds is selected, the tailgate will lock 30 seconds after it has been unlocked.
