The bonnet emblem is provided with pins that are pressed into plastic sleeves in the body. The emblems on the tailgate and front wings are fastened with double-sided tape. It is important that the bodywork on the tailgate and front wings is thoroughly cleaned with pure benzene before mounting the emblems.

The S emblem on the front wings is available on the GB and ME markets only.

The Saab Viggen has a unique Viggen badge on the front wings instead of the SE emblem.

The Saab 9-3 Aero has a unique Aero badge on the front wings instead of the SE emblem.
