Fresh-air filter
The filter is located on top of the climate unit housing underneath the water deflector before the ventilation fan. The fibres in the filter trap the coarse particles and, in order to trap the smallest particles, the filter is electrostatically charged. Due to the static electricity, the filter attracts particles, much like a magnet attracts iron filings.
In addition to removing all clearly visible particles, the filter also cleans the cabin air from pollen, spores, various types of dust, etc.
