| 1. | If necessary, remove the glass. | |
| 2. | Protect the reflector from dust and dirt. | |
| 3. | Identify the plastic. See  or   | |
| 4. | Select the appropriate welding wire and set the correct working temperature on the welding pistol so that it corresponds with the type of plastic. See   | |
| 5. | Hold the damaged spot steady and tack with the tacking tip on the hand welder.   | |
| 6. | Heat up and adjust the tab and tack it on with the hand welder.   | |
| 7. | Check the marking on the headlamp housing and use the welding wire table to obtain the correct welding wire. See  .   Weld on the tab. | |
| 8. | Then weld the other joints around the top mounting.   | |
| 9. | Allow the weld to cool. | |
| 10. | Sand the weld if necessary.   | |
