If the lug is hanging loose:
![]() Fix it with a clamp and mill a V-groove. |

If the lug has become detached:
cut out a V-groove. |

Identify the plastic. See

Select the appropriate welding wire and set the correct working temperature on the welding pistol so that it corresponds with the type of plastic. See

Weld on the lug.

Mill a V-groove on the other side.

7. |
Continue round with the welding rod and weld the other side.

8. |
Heat the ends of the welding rod and clamp them down in order to prevent a fracture in the joint.

Cut off the ends of the welding rod.

Sand the welded joint as necessary.
