HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Adverse health effects
Contains non-volatile isocyanates. Heating produces vapours which may irritated the respiratory system and produce coughing, asthmatic breathing and shortness of breath. Respiratory allergy may develop from often repeated inhalation of vapours. The product contains organic solvents. High concentrations of vapours may cause drowsiness and can give rise to headaches, tiredness, dizziness and nausea.
Adverse environmental effects
This product contains volatile organic compounds that can contribute to the photochemical formation of ozone. The product contains a substance that is very toxic to aquatic organisms and may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment.

FIRST AID MEASURES
Inhalation
The person should rest in fresh air under supervision. In the event of discomfort, seek medical advice and take along this material safety data sheet. In case of persistent throat irritation or coughing, seek medical advice and take along this material safety data sheet.
Skin
Wash skin immediately: Rub thoroughly with liquid soap and rinse carefully with lukewarm water. In case of eczema or other skin condition: Seek medical advice (show this material safety data sheet where possible).
Eyes
Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove any contact lenses and keep the eyes wide open. If the irritation persists: Visit a hospital and present this material safety data sheet.
Ingestion

FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable extinguishing media
Use a carbon dioxide or powder extinguisher. If exposed to heat, cool containers with water and remove from the area of fire, if this is possible without entailing risk.
Specific hazards
Burning produces toxic vapours and corrosive gasses.
Special protective equipment for firefighters
In the event of firefighting, use respiratory equipment with an air supply.
6.
SPILLAGE/ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal precautions
A written plan shall exist for sanitation after accidents and leakages. The plan shall be made knows to the employees. Ventilation shall be adequate. See section 8 regarding personal protective equipment.
Environmental precautions
Do not empty into drains, onto land or in watercourses.
Methods for cleaning up
Scrape up spillages or remove with absorbent material. Neutralise spillages of the isocyanate component using a decontaminating agent such as a mixture of 50% ethanol, 5% concentrated ammoniac and 45% water. Waste or spillage containing the thermosetting plastic component or partially cured plastic must be dealt with immediately and placed in a special waste container. The container must have a lid and be clearly marked with the text "Harmful waste" and a text briefly describing the contents and precautionary measures. Refer to section 13 for disposal considerations.
