This product is comprised of a silicon polymer with high molecular weight in solid form and other solid materials. Provided this product is not atomized, the risk of atmospheric contamination is small. The product is insoluble in water. It sinks in water since its specific gravity is >1. If this product is present as a component in municipal or industrial waste, it will be enter the ground environment on disposal. The probability of chemical change to the product is however small.

Ecotoxicity
|
This product or similar products are non-toxic to the bacteria in sewage sludge. The product is insoluble in water and is not considered to be a risk to aquatic organisms. It is a solid product and does not contain any specific concentrations of any water soluble components that can leach from the product. Therefore, the product is unlikely to be of any danger to soil organisms.

Bioconcentration

This product is in solid form insoluble in water and is not absorbed on ingestion. Accumulation in body tissue is therefore not possible.
