Engine oil and oil filter
Engine oil and oil filter |
Check for oil leakage |
Check that no oil leakage occurs at the top or bottom of the engine and gearbox or in the power steering's hydraulic system.
Engine oil |

Change the oil. Fill with oil to the MAX mark on the dipstick. The distance between the MAX and MIN marks corresponds to 1 litre (1,05 qts).
Check the level while the engine is still warm, 2-5 minutes after switching it off.
On certain diesel engines a label describing how to check the oil level is affixed to the dipstick.
