The glow plug is PWM controlled and its engagement at start is time restricted by the control module.
| Diagnosis |
When shorted to ground, diagnostic trouble code B0438 is generated.
In case of an open circuit or short circuit to B+, diagnostic trouble code B0442 is generated.
