Dismantling |

Raise the car.

Detach the shut-off valve hose from the EVAP canister.
|
3. |
Lower the car slightly.
|
4. |
Clean (using compressed air is necessary) and remove the white cover over the shut-off valve.
|
5. |
Unplug the connector and lift the valve upwards.
|
6. |
Detach the hose connection from the valve.
|
7. |
Remove the valve.

To fit |
1. |
Connect the valve to the hose. Make sure that the opening for the cable is correctly positioned.
|
2. |
Spray with Kontakt 61 and plug in the connector.
|
3. |
Carefully lower the valve into the vent pipe.
|
4. |
Fit the cover.
|
5. |
Raise the car.
|
6. |
Adjust and connect the shut-off valve hose to the EVAP canister.
|
7. |
Lower the car to the floor.
|
