Internal Control Module. Malfunction.
Fault symptoms

Possible loss of power before trouble code generated.

On-Board Diagnostics
Type of diagnosis:
-
Continuous. But interrupted when fault criteria fulfilled and will not restart until next driving cycle.
Enable criteria:
-
Crankshaft stationary, even after ignition OFF. Car stationary. The other two absolute pressure sensors deviate less than 10 kPa from each other.
Fault criteria:
-
Sensor value deviates more than 15 kPa from charge air absolute pressure sensor or intake air absolute pressure sensor.
Dependents:
System reaction to a fault:
-
Charge air adaptation blocked and zeroed. The charge air pressure start value is used as a substitute value. The purging is blocked. All diagnoses with the general condition that the atmospheric pressure must exceed 72 kPa and the engine coolant and intake air temperature must exceed -7°C are blocked.
OK report:
-
Fault criteria for P1631, P1632 or P1633 not fulfilled.

Diagnostic help
Fault diagnosis concerns an electrical fault in connecting leads or in the sensor.
Functions in the diagnostic tool related to the fault:
•
Diagnostic status for the diagnosis.
•
Pressure sensor value, unit kPa.
With the engine stationary, the value should correspond with the two other pressure sensors. Accepted difference is 10 kPa.
