Check the following:

The battery cable shoes are tight on the poles and that no oxide is present.

The battery cables are tight where they connect with the car and that there is no oxide or other corrosion to cause bad contact.

The generator connections are tight and there is no oxide or other corrosion to cause bad contact.

|
The generator belt is in good condition and correctly tensioned.
