9-3 with petrol engine B205E: from VIN 22023962 and 27007674, respectively

9-3 with petrol engine B235R: from VIN 27008929

Background

A new gearbox oil, Saab MTF 0063 Synthetic, which improves shifting properties has been introduced into production as of 1 January 2002.

Cars with the above VINs and onward must have the new gearbox oil.
