Belt pulley, power steering pump, petrol engine

To remove



1. Remove the air filter unit.

2. Take the strain off the belt tensioner and remove the belt from the pulley.

3. Use 89 96 423 Puller, servo pump belt pulley to remove the belt pulley.

Important

The diameter of puller 89 96 423 must be filed up 0.5 mm if it does not fit.



To fit



1. Fit the new belt pulley onto the shaft.

2. Use 89 96 415 Fitting tool, servo pump belt pulley to pull in the new belt pulley.

3. The pulley must be fitted so that the hub sits flush with the end of the pump shaft.

Important

Do not pull the belt pulley too far in.


4. Place the belt on the pulley and tension the belt tensioner.

5. Fit the air filter unit.
