Cold draught from steering wheel
|
Saab 9-3 model year 98-
After the car has been standing in a cold environment for a time, the airbag module in the steering wheel cools down. This causes a cold draught around the steering wheel, making the driver's hands and knees cold despite the cabin temperature being satisfactory. The airbag module has a large mass and takes a long time to warm up.
For customers that are affected, a sealing strip can be fitted to the airbag module that will reduce the risk of cold draughts.
