Apply the handbrake.

Remove the antenna unit by turning it slightly anticlockwise and then lifting it up.

Remove the cover plate of the ignition switch by first lifting the rear edge of the cover clear and then disengaging the front edge.

Undo the retaining screw of the floor console.
|
5. |
Take out the rear ashtray/cover.
|
6. |
Remove the rear cover.
|
7. |
Remove the floor console retaining nuts.

8. |
Loosen the floor console by pulling it straight back and lifting it slightly.
Unplug the connector to the remote control receiver. |

Convertible:
Remove the interior lighting switch using a screwdriver or by pressing from below and pulling straight up (the switch is secured with clips). Unplug the switch contact.

Loosen the window lift module by releasing the front (snap fastener). Unplug the window lift module connector.
|
11. |
Lift away the floor console.

The centre console must be fitted before fitting the floor console. |

Fit the floor console over the handbrake. Do not press down the console but leave it loose.

Feed the window lift and antenna unit connectors (Convertible: interior lighting also) through the applicable holes.

3. |
Plug in the window lift module connector and fit the module.
Convertible: Connect the interior lighting and fit the switch. |
4. |
Plug in the remote control receiver connector.
|
5. |
Tighten the floor console retaining screws and nuts.
|
6. |
Put the rear cover in place, making sure the air duct is connected properly to the air nozzle.

7. |
Screw on the module.
|
8. |
Fit the ashtray/cover.
|
9. |
Fit the ignition switch cover.
|
10. |
Fit the antenna unit.
