The equipment for draining and filling refrigerant should be flexible and easy-to-handle. A scale keeps tabs on how much refrigerant is drained and filled. A requirement for the equipment is that it must be sufficiently quick.
It is important to bear in mind the following when choosing equipment:

Powerful vacuum pump and vacuum gauge for effective vacuum extraction and thereby drying of the system.

Good purification from contaminants. The filter should be ample in size and generate a warning when it is full.

Simple handling. Automatic operation makes work more efficient.

Note that the difference in price is often based on whether the equipment is fully automated or semi-automated. A semi-automated machine requires monitoring.
