Crankshaft position sensor (345)

/ 9-3 (9440) / 2003 / 2. Engine / 4-cylinder diesel / Engine management system PSG16 / Adjustment/replacement / Crankshaft position sensor (345)

To remove

1.	Remove the upper engine cover.

2.	Unplug the position sensor.

3.	Raise the car.

4.	Remove the lower engine cover.

5.	Undo the two bolts securing the coolant pipe.

6.	Move the coolant pipe forward.

7.	Remove the sensor.

To fit

1.	Fit the sensor. Grease the O-ring sparingly with vaseline.

2.	Draw up the wiring.

3.	Fit the two bolts securing the coolant pipe.

4.	Fit the lower engine cover.

5.	Lower the car.

6.	Plug in the position sensor.

7.	Replace the upper engine cover.
