Glow plugs (398)

To remove

1.	Remove the engine cover and detach the charge air pipe from the turbocharger and camshaft cover. Plug the turbocharger inlet and the charge air pipe.

2.	Detach the cable mounting from the camshaft cover and unplug the connectors from the glow plugs.

3.	Blow the area around the glow plugs clean, slacken the plugs and remove them.

To fit

1.	Fit the glow plugs. Tightening torque 10 Nm (7.5 lbf ft)

2.	Plug in the glow plugs and fit the cable mounting to the camshaft cover.

3.	Refit the charge air pipe to the turbocharger and camshaft cover.

4.	Fit the engine cover.
