Lighting check

Check that the following lighting points light up:

Exterior lighting

These lamps generate DTCs in SID:


• Xenon lamps

• Main beam lamps

• Dipped beam lamps

• Front direction indicators

• Rear fog light

• Rear parking lights

• Rear direction indicators

• Brake lights

• High-level brake light


These lamps do not generate DTCs in SID:


• Front parking lights

• Fog lights

• Side marker lights

• Side direction indicators

• Reversing lights

• Number plate lamp


Interior lighting

These lamps do not generate DTCs in SID:


• Lamp, front floor lighting

• Lamp, vanity mirror lighting

• Bulb, glovebox lighting

• Lamp, courtesy light

• Bulb, front roof lighting

• Bulb, rear roof lighting

• Bulb, luggage compartment lighting

• Bulb, ashtray

• Lamp, 12V socket

• Illumination of switches and displays


Check the light settings for the headlamps and fog lights; adjust as needed, see
