Vacuum pump, petrol engine

To remove


1. Remove the IDM screws and move the module to the side.


2. Remove the vacuum hose.

3. Remove the two pump bolts and move the bracket aside.

4. Remove the pump. Clean up any excess engine oil with a rag.


To fit


1. Check that the o-ring is in the proper position.


2. Fit the pump and the IDM bracket.

Tightening torque: 24 Nm (18 lbf ft)


3. Fit the vacuum hose.

4. Fit the IDM.

5. Check for leaks between the pump and cylinder head.

6. Check brake function.
