Identify the type of plastic. See

Select the correct welding wire and set the welding gun to an operating temperature appropriate for the plastic type. See

3. |
Position the component and tack it in place.

4. |
Weld the component using welding wire.
|
5. |
Allow the weld to cool.
|
6. |
Grind the weld as necessary.

The plastic marking on a radiator may appear as follows: |

PA - T 20, where 20 indicates the percentage of filler material. Only radiators with max. 30% filler material can be welded. A radiator marked PA - T 40, for example, must not be welded. |
