The heated rear window is activated by pressing the button on the ACC/MCC panel or automatically by ACC. Cars with MCC do not have the function for automatic activation. So as not to discharge the battery, the heated rear window and door mirrors can be activated only when the engine is running. The rear window is heated by current passing the antenna amplifier, being directed to the rear window heating conductors and being grounded via an antenna filter. The rear window is normally heated for 12 minutes.
