| BACKGROUND | 
Customer complains of wet carpets on the right side and the leak is hard to localize.
| CONDITIONS | 
Body sealant is badly applied on both out and inside of the corner where the fire wall, the RH A-pillar and the RH fender meet.
| SYMPTOM DESCRIPTION | 
The carpet on the front as well as the rear floor R side can be soaking wet even though the leak is at the RH A-pillar. The water follows the A-pillar down to the front floor and flows rearwards underneath the carpet and its insulation to the rear floor which is lower positioned than the front floor.
| ACTION | 
 
    
    Check also the A-pillar (behind glovebox) from the passenger foot well side (pic. 2) or behind the fuse box on RHD cars.
 
   
   If one or both is bad; Remove the old sealant, clean the surfaces and apply new sealant.
