Airbag warning lamp is lit
On-board diagnosis
Type of diagnosis:
| • | With ignition on : 160 ms |
| • | After ignition on but < 10 s : 80 ms |
Enable criteria:
Fault criteria:
| Voltage applied to control module pin 23 is lower than 2V for 1 s. |
System reaction to a fault:
| Airbag warning lamp is lit |
Checking the wiring harness
Move the wiring harness at several spots and in several directions to reveal intermittent breaks and short-circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, retracted pins and pin clamping force.
